"Eight" appears here in the central tree-segment and the horizontal
subdividions ( "eight" is symbolic of the eighth day of creation
-of the world to come). "Five" is represented by the horizontal
colored elements at the left.
On the number "5": the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet is
taw with the numerical value 400, the boundary of language equals the boundary
of the world; accordingly, the dimensions of heaven are always rendered
by values of "fives" in the Kabbala (tradition). Unity is added
to "four".
